Workspaces

A workspace is a whole page of its own: its cards, their layout, the view (tiles or columns), the date setting, and the background and appearance. Note locations, weather and task settings are shared by all of them. Everything you change is kept in the workspace you’re in, so switching back finds it as you left it.

The workspace’s name heads the page at the top right, in the date’s style. Point at it and the other workspaces slide out to its right, then a + for a new one; click one to switch to it. Rest on any of the names for a second to see a picture of that workspace under it. Click the name itself to open the workspace picker: each workspace shows as a picture of its page, as it was when you last left it, in a row you can narrow by typing. Right-click the name, or use the page’s right-click menu or the commands Switch workspace, New workspace (an empty page), Duplicate workspace, Rename workspace and Delete workspace manage them. Move to workspace…, in a card’s right-click menu or as Move card to workspace, sends a card to the end of another workspace’s main column.

Layouts

Each workspace can keep several layouts: the same cards, arranged differently. A layout holds the view (tiles or columns), where each card sits, column widths, card heights, and which cards are folded; the cards themselves and their settings are shared, so a card added or removed in one layout is added to or removed from them all. Changes are kept in the layout you’re in.

Point at the workspace’s name to see its layouts in a small row under it, named 1, 2 and so on: click one to switch, the cards sliding to their new places, click the open one to rename it, or click + to start a new one as a copy of the one you’re in. Right-click the row, use the page’s right-click menu, or the commands Next layout, Previous layout, New layout, Rename layout and Delete layout.
